Silicon Valley 1/2 Marathon

Course Description
The Silicon Valley Half-Marathon course will start in downtown San Jose on Almaden Blvd. near Park Ave. and take off heading south.

The course makes its way through the heart of Willow Glen and funnels onto the Los Gatos Creek Trail for an amazingly scenic, traffic-free journey to beautiful Vasona Lake Park.

The course continues on the Creek Trail and into Los Gatos, and then ends on the fields of Los Gatos High School. The Creek Trail is a an asphalt bike/pedestrian trail making the whole course paved.

Free bus transportation will be provided for runners from Los Gatos to Discovery Meadows for the post-race celebration, awards ceremony and live concert.

Entertainment
As always, we've put some unique elements and entertainment out on the course. What’s more, the finish line is located at the post-race celebration area where a lineup of live entertainment, family activities, massages, food, and much more wait for you across the finish line.
Aid Stations and Medical Support
There are numerous aid stations on the course equipped with water and bathrooms. There will also be roving medical staff on the course and each aid station will be in radio contact with medical staff in case of emergency.
Timing, Pace and Results
The course will close based on a 15 minute-per-mile pace. Athletes behind this pace will be asked to obey all traffic laws.

The Silicon Valley Half-Marathon will be chip-timed ensuring accurate and timely results. Your results will be available on-site near the finish line and online from the Results Page of the website.
